THROUGH ALBANIA was founded in Switzerland in 2019 by Albentic Travel Ltd. As Albania specialists with regional roots, we have been traveling throughout Albania for almost 10 years. Our symbol, the turtle, represents the diversity of life on land and in the water. The turquoise background symbolizes Albania’s element, water – whether in the «Blue Eye» in Butrint or in Europe’s last wild river, the Vjosa; in the Ionian Sea or in the Adriatic. Frozen in a glacier in the north Albanian Alps, or in the form of snow – water and biodiversity are with us everywhere we go in Albania.

Our trips are about experiences and insights in a largely unknown country! We have long relationships with our partners. We got to know and appreciate many on our private trips. As a Swiss company, we know both facets, as tour operator and guest!
It is important to us to bring guests to Albania in a genuine way. Albania is not a luxury travel destination. In our opinion, however, not a cheap travel destination for package holidaymakers either! This is not only our aspiration, it would not do Albania justice either. This is the only way to preserve uniqueness. To promote tourism which is environmentally friendly over the long term, we place value on working with regional partners. This enables us to support even poorly developed areas.
Our contribution to this is working with partners who understand and live our vision. Together they go one step further with us! From the small manufactory to the hotel or the boatman who explores the coast with us. We actively support our partners with our extensive experience. This is how we create perspectives! We work almost exclusively with family businesses. Our carefully selected accommodations are of a good standard. All tour guides are certified and have extensive experience.
